My Story

Nice to meet you! I am a voice teacher focused on improving your vocal health and technique, whether for singing, speaking, or vocal rehabilitation.

I am dedicated to providing my students with a comfortable environment and an inclusive studio culture. No matter your goals as a singer or speaker, I will be with you every step of the way.

I grew up the daughter of a voice teacher and a professional jazz bassist, so I have always been surrounded by music, learning and absorbing everything my parents had to teach me. As a child I was classically trained in violin and attended classes at the Peabody Conservatory to hone my skills. I now hold a bachelor's degree from the Manhattan School of Music in classical voice. I have performed internationally and so have my students! If you want to know more about myself as a musician, you can check out my site; however, my teaching journey began with my mentor, Valentin Peytchinov, a gifted pedagogue who taught me everything I know about the voice and how it functions. I started teaching long before I met him, but after being introduced to his method, I realized my passion for sharing this incredible information and helping other singers to unlock their true potential. When I first began learning his method, improvement came immediately. Since then, I have traveled with Valentin and taught in his international courses as his assistant, and together we wrote a book on his method (available soon!) to codify it.

The technique, firmly rooted in historic bel-canto technique, quickly solves problems that stump even the best of singers. It conquers the passaggio (also known as voice break, voice crack), it extends the range to a minimum average of 3 octaves, maximizes volume, eliminates nasality, and minimizes vocal effort. It works for any style of singing, facilitates belting, coloratura or riffing, and helps to heal wobbles (the vocal defect characterized by wide, slow vibrato).
